A method and an apparatus for closing the tool of a plastics-processing machine, especially a blow-molding machine, concerns a two-part tool (1, 2) which is supported by two tool mounting plates (3, 4), at least one run drive (5), at least two closure drives (8), and such that the closure drives (8) each have a hydraulic piston-cylinder system with a cylinder (9), a piston (10), and a cylinder rod (11), and such that an inflow (14) and an outflow (15) for hydraulic oil is situated at the cylinder (9). Also, the end of the piston rod (11) has an interlock element (12) which interacts with a counter-piece (13), such that the piston rod (11) does not interlock with the closure piece (13), in order to apply the closure force, until the tool (1, 2) is situated near its closed position. According to the invention, all the closure drives (8) for closing the tool (1, 2) with a high force are actuated by a common control or regulation mechanism; no synchronization devices between the individual closure drives 8 are present. The entire closure motion of the tool (1, 2) takes place continuously and without interruption of the closure process. In this way, a more economical mode of operation is achieved by a simpler and more economical design.
La présente invention a pour objet une méthode ainsi qu'un mécanisme pour fermer l'outil d'une machine de transformation de matières plastiques, notamment une machine de moulage par soufflage comportant un outil en deux parties (1 et 2) qui sont supportées par deux plaques de montage (3 et 4), au moins un mécanisme d'exécution (5), au moins deux mécanismes de fermeture (8), chacun des mécanismes de fermeture (8) en question étant doté d'un circuit hydraulique à piston et cylindre comportant un cylindre (9), un piston (10) et une tige de piston (11); le flux entrant (14) et le flux sortant (15) de liquide hydraulique se produisant au niveau du cylindre (9). En outre, l'extrémité de la tige de piston (11) comporte un organe d'interverrouillage (12) qui vient en prise avec une pièce correspondante (13), de sorte que la tige de piston (11) ne vient pas en prise avec la pièce de fermeture (13) afin d'exercer la force de fermeture jusqu`à ce que l'outil (1 et 2) se trouve à proximité de la position fermée. En vertu de cette invention, tous les mécanismes servant à la fermeture (8) en force de l'outil (1 et 2) sont actionnés par un même mécanisme de commande ou de régulation; aucun dispositif de synchronisation entre les mécanismes de fermeture individuels (8) n'est prévu. Le mouvement de fermeture de l'outil (1 et 2) se produit en continu et sans interruption du processus de fermeture. Cette configuration se traduit par un mode de fonctionnement plus simple et plus économique.
