Apparatus (10) for removing sludge from a liquid reservoir, the apparatus (10) comprising buoyant float means (12), a sludge pump (24) mounted via a support arm (17) and the apparatus (10) having an upper profile so as to allow it in use to operate beneath a membrane covering at least part of the reservoir. The support arm (17) may be oscillated to move the pump in a substantially vertical plane. The buoyancy of the float means (12) may be adjusted to vary the position of floating of the apparatus (10) in the liquid.
L'invention concerne un appareil (10) d'élimination de boues d'un réservoir de liquide, ledit appareil (10) comportant un moyen (12) de flotteur et une pompe (24) à boues montée par l'intermédiaire d'un bras-support (17), et ledit appareil (10) présentant un profil supérieur lui permettant, pendant l'utilisation, de fonctionner sous une membrane recouvrant au moins une partie du réservoir. Le bras-support (17) peut être animé d'un mouvement oscillant pour déplacer la pompe dans un plan sensiblement vertical. La flottabilité du moyen (12) de flotteur peut être réglée pour faire varier la position de flottaison de l'appareil (10) dans le liquide.
