A method for the continuous treatment of particulate material, such as cement raw meal, in an apparatus comprising a stationary reactor (6) configured as a conical spouted bed, to which the material is fed and treated in a suspended bed by means of gas which, via a centrally arranged gas inlet (21), is injected at the bottom of the reactor (6) and flows upwards through the reactor (6), and wherefrom the material is discharged via an opening (21) at the bottom of the reactor (6). The dimensions, operating parameters of the reactor (6, 21) or the volumes of the connected apparatuses (8a) are selected and regulated in such a way that during operation the bed pulsates up and down in the reactor (6) at such an amplitude that a quantity of the bed material which corresponds to the quantity of fresh feed material, when the bed is situated in its lowermost position, is brought into a zone (22) in which the gas flow velocity is lower than the minimum velocity required for suspending the bed particles, and thereby drops through the gas flow out of the reactor (6).
Cette invention concerne un procédé destiné au traitement en continu d'une matière particulaire, du type farine crue de ciment, dans un appareil comportant un réacteur stationnaire (6) ayant la structure d'un lit fluidisé avec giclage, vers lequel la matière est amenée et traitée dans un lit suspendu par du gaz qui, par l'intermédiaire d'un orifice d'admission (21) de gaz disposé de façon centrale, est injecté au niveau du bas du réacteur (6) et s'écoule suivant une direction ascendante à travers le réacteur (6), et d'où la matière est rejetée par un orifice (21) ménagé en bas du réacteur (6). Les dimensions, les paramètres de fonctionnement du réacteur (6, 21) ou les volumes des appareils reliés (8a) sont sélectionnés et régulés de telle sorte que, en cours de fonctionnement, le lit subit, dans le réacteur (6), des vibrations ascendantes et descendantes ayant une amplitude telle qu'une quantité de la matière du lit correspondant à la quantité de matière ayant fraîchement alimenté le réacteur, lorsque le lit se trouve au niveau de sa position la plus basse, est amenée à l'intérieur d'une zone (22), dans laquelle la vitesse du flux de gaz est inférieure à la vitesse minimale requise pour suspendre les particules du lit, et chute de ce fait à travers le flux de gaz sortant du réacteur (6).
