The invention relates to a method for controlling a vehicle washing installation with the use of a light-section procedure, wherein at least one treatment device (1) and a vehicle (2) to be washed are moved relative to each other in the washing direction (L), the vehicle surfaces are illuminated by two light fans (11, 12) starting from different positions, a first (figure 7) and a second (figure 8) two-dimensional depiction of the vehicle surfaces illuminated by the light fans (11, 12) are recorded from shooting angles which are oblique with respect to the planes of the light fans, and are stored in a control unit (20) together with the relative position and/or relative movement of treatment devices (1) and vehicle (2), the preceding steps are repeated during a traversing operation from one end to the other end of the vehicle (2), and, during or after the end of the traversing operation, a three-dimensional representation of the vehicle surfaces is calculated from the two-dimensional depictions (figure 7, figure 8) stored in the control unit (20), and from the shooting angles, the relative position and/or relative movement and position data of the light fans (11, 12), and said three-dimensional representation is used in order to control the vehicle washing installation, in particular the treatment devices (1) arranged thereon.
L'invention concerne un procédé de commande d'une installation de lavage de véhicules par recours à un procédé à coupure de lumière, selon lequel au moins un dispositif de traitement (1) et un véhicule (2) à laver sont déplacés l'un par rapport à l'autre dans la direction de lavage (L), les surfaces du véhicule sont éclairées par deux faisceaux lumineux (11, 12) qui partent de positions différentes, une première image bidimensionnelle (figure 7) et une deuxième image bidimensionnelle (figure 8) des surfaces du véhicule éclairé par les faisceaux lumineux (11, 12) sont prises sous des angles d'enregistrement obliques par rapport aux plans des faisceaux lumineux et sont enregistrées dans une unité de commande (20) avec la position relative et/ou le déplacement relatif des dispositifs de traitement (1) et du véhicule (2). Les opérations précédentes sont répétées pendant une opération de transfert d'une extrémité à l'autre du véhicule (2) et pendant ou après la fin de l'opération de transfert, à partir des images bidimensionnelles (figure 7, figure 8) conservées en mémoire dans l'unité de commande (20), des angles d'enregistrement, de la position relative et/ou du déplacement relatif et des données de position des faisceaux lumineux (11, 12), une représentation tridimensionnelle des surfaces du véhicule est calculée et est utilisée pour commander l'installation de lavage du véhicule et en particulier les dispositifs de traitement (1) qui y sont disposés.
