-13- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for controlling the air to gas ratio of fuel supplied to a gas engine that includes a conduit connecting the carburetor to the intake manifold of the engine. A throttle valve is located in the conduit for varying the flow area therethrough in response to load changes on the engine and a regulator device including a controller and gas regulator for changing the air to fuel gas ratio of fuel supplied to the engine in response to the position of the throttle valve.
