ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to the covering with sheet material of flexible symmetrical non-rotatable tubes, espe- cially components of packages. By utilizing the resilient cross-sectional deformability of the tubes, there is provided a method and apparatus where the tube is mounted onto a cylindrical mandrel having a circumference corresponding essentially to the inner circumference of the tube and there- after applying the sheet material by an adhesive lamination around essentially the entire circumference of the tube.
