A method of creating cultivation areas on flat surfaces, which comprises the following steps: a layer (16) of a desired vegetable growth is grown on a soil bed, following which, pieces (14) of said layer (16), having any desired dimensions, together with the layer (16) of soil (17) in which the roots of the growth are embedded, are detached. The said layer of soil (17) is then removed from said pieces (14), whereby to produce portions of said vegetable growth which have fully exposed roots. The method also provides for a vegetable growth container (21), into which is laid a porous bed. The aforementioned growth portions (14) are then laid onto said porous bed. The container (21) is placed in the desired position on a flat surface, and the resulting vegetable growth is cultivated by watering it and subjecting it to other required cultivating treatments.

L'invention concerne un procédé servant à former des zones de cultures sur des surfaces plates, qui comporte les étapes consistant à: cultiver une couche (16) d'une culture végétale voulue sur un lit de sol, puis détacher des éléments (14) de dimensions voulues de ladite couche (16) de sol avec la couche (16) de sol (17) dans laquelle sont incorporées les racines de la culture; enlever ladite couche de sol (17) desdits éléments (14), ce qui permet de produire des parties de ladite culture végétale qui ont des racines entièrement exposées. L'invention concerne également un contenant (21) pour culture végétale dans lequel on place un lit poreux. Les parties (14) de culture susmentionnées sont ensuite placées sur ledit lit poreux. On place le contenant (21) dans une position voulue sur une surface plate, et on cultive la culture végétale obtenue en l'arrosant et en la soumettant à d'autres traitements de culture requis.
