2068995 9107536 PCTABS00005 Methods and apparatus for jet printing e.g. of textile fabrics are disclosed. Metered quantities of fluid e.g. dye are supplied in a succession of discrete small quantities through capillaries in boards which can be angled relatively to a moving fabric for fineness of spacing. Multiple boards extend across the fabric path and the capillaries fire the dye on computer command to print any desired pattern. Each row of boards can replace a conventional printing screen in a multicolour printing machine.
