To determine the deviation of longitudinal signal components from a predetermined value on a balanced two-wire circuit (A, B), a first voltage is measured between one of the wires (A) and a first reference potential by means of a first voltage measuring means (3), a second voltage is measured between the second wire (B) and a second reference potential by means of a second voltage measuring means (4), and the difference between the first and the second voltage is formed by means of a difference forming means (5), said difference being proportional to the deviation of the longitudinal signal components from the mean value of the first and the second reference potential.

Pour déterminer la déviation de composantes de signaux en longitude par rapport à une valeur prédéterminée sur un circuit équilibré à deux fils (A, B), on mesure une première tension entre l'un des fils (A) et un premier potentiel de référence à l'aide d'un premier dispositif (3) de mesure de tension, et on mesure une seconde tension entre le second fil (B) et un second potentiel de référence à l'aide d'un second dispositif (4) de mesure de tension et on établit la différence entre les première et seconde tensions à l'aide d'un dispositif (5) d'établissement de différence, ladite différence étant proportionnelle à la déviation des composantes de signaux en longitude par rapport à la valeur moyenne des premier et second potentiels de référence.
