A novel apparatus for compressing viscous material (100) through openings (48) in a stencil (46) is disclosed. The novel apparatus has a compression head (200) which provides a contained environment to direct and to aid the flow of pressurised viscous material (100) through the openings (48) in the stencil (46). Attached to the bottom surface (216) of the compression head are a pair of self-compliant blades (216) which are adapted to selectively engage the stencil (46) and to flexibly move across the stencil (46) and which are effective to spread the viscous material across the stencil (46).
L'invention concerne un nouveau dispositif permettant de presser un matériau (100) visqueux à travers les ouvertures (48) d'un pochoir (46). Ce nouveau dispositif comprend une tête (200) de compression qui offre un environnement fermé permettant de diriger et d'assister l'écoulement d'un matériau (100) visqueux sous pression à travers les ouvertures (48) du pochoir. Deux lames (216) souples conçues pour venir s'appliquer sélectivement sur le pochoir (46) et se déplacer souplement à travers ce dernier sont fixées sur la surface (216) inférieure de la tête de compression et servent à étaler le matériau visqueux sur le pochoir (46).
