Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a method and an apparatus adapted to a lance type can sprayer. The sprayer is first used to reciprocate a distributing device into and out of a rotating can to spread residual lubricant remaining in the can as a result of the manufacturing process. The residual lubricant must be uniformly distributed in order to facilitate a postspraying operation on the next station of the sprayer.
