The present invention provides a washer for washing articles. The washer is comprised of a housing defining a chamber. The housing has side walls and a top wall. A partition divides the chamber into an upper compartment and a lower compartment that is dimensioned to receive articles to be washed. The partition has an outer peripheral edge that generally conforms to the side walls of the housing. The partition is dimensioned such that a gap is formed between the edge of the partition and the side walls of the housing. An external air inlet line fluidly communicates with the upper compartment. A blower assembly is disposed in the upper compartment. The blower assembly is comprised of a housing having a first air inlet, a second air inlet and an air outlet. The first air inlet fluidly communicates with the lower compartment. The second air inlet fluidly communicates with the external air inlet line. The outlet fluidly communicates with the upper chamber. An impeller is disposed in the housing. The impeller is operable to circulate air from the lower compartment and the air inlet line through the air outlet into the upper compartment. A heating means is disposed in the upper compartment. The heating means heats air in the upper compartment.
La présente invention concerne une machine à laver destinée à laver des articles. Ladite machine est constituée par un logement définissant une chambre, lequel logement comporte des parois latérales et une paroi supérieure. Une cloison divise la chambre en un compartiment supérieur et un compartiment inférieur qui sont dimensionnés pour recevoir des articles à laver. Ladite cloison comporte un bord périphérique externe qui se conforme généralement aux parois latérales du logement et est dimensionnée de telle sorte qu'un espace est formé entre le bord de la cloison et les parois latérales du logement. Une ligne d'admission d'air externe communique par fluide avec le compartiment supérieur, un ensemble soufflante étant disposé dans celui-ci. Ledit ensemble soufflante est constitué par un logement comportant une première admission d'air, une seconde admission d'air et un refoulement d'air. La première admission d'air communique par fluide avec le compartiment inférieur; la seconde admission d'air communique par fluide avec la ligne d'admission d'air externe et le refoulement communique par fluide avec la chambre supérieure. Une hélice est disposée dans le logement, laquelle est opérationnelle pour faire circuler de l'air depuis le compartiment inférieur et la ligne d'admission d'air à travers le refoulement d'air à l'intérieur du compartiment supérieur. Un moyen de chauffage est disposé dans le compartiment supérieur, lequel chauffe l'air dans le compartiment supérieur.
