A vertical prefabricated composite drain (10) for improving conventional consolidated acceleration of saturated soils. The composite drain is installed in a generally vertical manner in water saturated soil (24) to be treated for expelling pore water from the soil and is provided with an elongated core (12) with at least one channel (13) therealong for conveying fluids and is also provided with filter fabric (14) which surrounds the core. At least one elongated tube (15) is installed in juxtaposition and coextension with the drain core (12) and fluid under pressure is forced through the tube (15) for thereby assisting an expulsion of pore water from the drain (10).
La présente invention concerne un drain composite vertical préfabriqué (10) destiné à accélérer la consolidation conventionnelle des sols saturés. Le drain composite est généralement installé verticalement sur un sol saturé en eau (24) devant être traité pour en éliminer l'eau interstitielle, ce drain comportant une partie centrale allongée (12) traversée au moins par un canal (13) permettant d'acheminer les fluides, et un tissu filtre (14) entourant la partie centrale en question. Au moins un tube allongé (15) est monté en juxtaposition et en coextension par rapport à la partie centrale du drain (12), un fluide sous pression étant amené à force dans le tube (15) pour faciliter l'expulsion de l'eau interstitielle du drain (10).
