The present invention provides a method for mixing a liquefied hydrocarbon gas extracting a flow of hydrocarbon containing water. The method involves; a) introducing the liquefied hydrocarbon gas extracting into the water to provide water having entrained droplets of the extract and/or the hydrocarbon; b) subjecting the water to a first pressure drop to fragment the entrained droplets c) optionally, mixing the water and the liquefied hydrocarbon gas to promote distribution of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas in the water; and d) subsequently subjecting the water having entrained droplets to a second pre- sure drop, to coalesce the entrained droplets. The invention also provides a method for extracting contaminants involving the mixing method and apparatus suitable for carrying out the methods of the invention.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour mélanger un agent d'extraction de gaz d'hydrocarbure liquéfié à un flux d'eau contenant un hydrocarbure. Ce procédé consiste à introduire l'agent d'extraction de gaz d'hydrocarbure liquéfié dans l'eau pour obtenir une eau dotée d'occlusions de gouttes de la matière extraite et/ou de l'hydrocarbure, à soumettre l'eau à une première chute de pression pour fragmenter les occlusions de gouttes, éventuellement, à mélanger l'eau et le gaz d'hydrocarbure liquéfié pour favoriser la répartition du gaz d'hydrocarbure liquéfié dans l'eau et à soumettre ensuite l'eau contenant les occlusions de gouttes à une deuxième chute de pression pour réaliser une coalescence des occlusions de gouttes. L'invention porte également sur un procédé pour extraire des polluants, consistant à appliquer ce procédé de mélange, et sur un appareil pour réaliser les procédés de la présente invention.
