ABSTRACT A method for extruding small pieces of vegetation and binders, whereby the mixture, introduced into the filling-area of a cold piston-extrusion press, is passed through a duct which determines the cross-sectional shape of the extrusion and, in the compacted condition, into and through a hardening duct provided, if necessary with deflectable wall-sections, characterized in that a flowing motion is imparted to the mixture, while it is being compacted, by means of an extended compacting path.
