Previously products formed from recycled plastic material have been moulded in moulds which require lengthy pouring, curing and removal processes. The present inven- tion provides a method and apparatus for producing continu- ous shaped plastic products from recycled materials wherein the softened plastic is extruded into a thin sheet. The surface of the sheet is compressed and cooled to form a skin and the sheet is then shaped by rollers into the desired continuous shape.
