ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Method and apparatus for fastening insulation to a pipe which comprises an adjustable crib which is fastened both to the pipe and to the insulation. It prevents the insulation from shifting along the pipe. Additionally, a system for fastening insulation to a pipe is shown which comprises at least one of the cribs which is mounted both to the pipe and to the insulation. Further, a method is disclosed for fasten- ing insulation to a pipe which comprises the steps of securing at least one of the adjustable cribs to a pipe and then con- necting the insulation to the crib.
