The present invention relates to a method of and apparatus for feeding a chemical into a liquid flow. The method and apparatus according to the invention are most preferably utilized for feeding a retention aid into fiber suspension flow going to the headbox of a paper machine so that in a mixing apparatus (34) feeding liquid is added into said retention chemical solution, prior to introducing said solution into the fiber suspension flow (70) guided to the paper machine, which feeding liquid is preferably some circulation water from the paper mill or some other non-clean liquid.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil d'alimentation d'un flux liquide en produit chimique. Le procédé et l'appareil de l'invention sont idéalement utilisés pour alimenter un flux de suspension fibreuse allant vers la caisse de tête d'une machine à papier en adjuvants de rétention. On ajoute un liquide d'alimentation à ladite solution de produit chimique de rétention, dans un appareil de mélange (34), avant d'introduire cette solution dans le flux de suspension fibreuse (70) dirigé vers la machine à papier. Le liquide d'alimentation est de préférence de l'eau de circulation d'une usine à papier ou un autre liquide non propre.
