A method and apparatus for transferring a vibrational force to a wire of a papermaking machine in order to re-align the fibers of the web forming on the wire or to clean press section felts. In some embodiments, the apparatus is a vibrational device including at least one vibration-inducing mechanism, a vibrational head (1106) coupled to the vibration-inducing mechanism for vibrating the wire, and a dampening mechanism (1200) coupled between the vibrational head (1106) and the vibration-inducing mechanism.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de transfert d'une force vibratoire à la toile d'une machine de fabrication de papier afin de réaligner les fibres de la bande se formant sur la toile ou de nettoyer les feutres de la section presse. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'appareil est un dispositif vibrant comprenant au moins une mécanisme induisant des vibrations, une tête de vibration couplée au mécanisme induisant des vibrations pour faire vibrer la toile et un mécanisme d'amortissement couplé entre la tête de vibration et le mécanisme induisant des vibrations.
