ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention provides an assembly for handling clothes on hangers, and in particular an assembly capable of mov- ing clothes or the like from one place to another inside a fac- tory or a warehouse, following instructions that could be pro- vided by an external computer. The apparatus includes an autogu- ided vehicle, a manipulator of two degrees of freedom and a clamp, movable in four degrees of freedom, all the aforementioned elements being designed for controlled handling clothes on hang- ers. When applied in a factory, a number of assemblies of the invention, communicated with a host computer, could automate the operations and the internal management of the warehouse or work- shop.
