There is provided a method and apparatus for identifying manufactured items in containers (103). Each container is suitable for containing two or more units (101). The method comprises the steps of : associating each unit with a unique unit identifier, uniquely identifying each unit, allocating two or more units to be contained in each container (103), uniquely identifying each container, for each container (103), determining one or more ranges of unit identifiers of the two or more units (101) allocated to the container, and storing, in a database, a container identifier (103A) for each container (103), each container identifier being coupled, in the database, to the one or more ranges of unit identifiers of the two or more units allocated to the container (103). There is also provided methods and apparatus for authenticating, tracking and tracing the units (101).
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil pour identifier des articles manufacturés dans des récipients (103). Chaque récipient est approprié pour contenir au moins deux unités (101). Le procédé consiste à : associer chaque unité à un identifiant d'unité unique ; identifier chaque unité de façon unique ; allouer au moins deux unités devant être contenues dans chaque récipient (103) ; identifier chaque récipient de façon unique, pour chaque récipient (103) ; déterminer une ou plusieurs plages d'identifiants d'unité des au moins deux unités (101) allouées au récipient ; et stocker, dans une base de données, un identifiant de récipient (103A) pour chaque récipient (103), chaque identifiant de récipient étant couplé, dans la base de données, à la ou aux plages d'identifiants d'unité des au moins deux unités allouées au récipient (103). L'invention porte également sur des procédés et un appareil pour authentifier, suivre et tracer les unités (101).
