P.C. 7548 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF BONE HEALING Abstract A method and apparatus 10 are provided for improving bone ingrowth into prostheses and for stimulating living bone attachment onto prostheses and for bone healing in general wherever two bone surfaces are to be joined, for example in fractures and in osteotomies. Bone particles are sprayed under particular conditions and with a particular device 10 onto the two surfaces to be joined. The device 10 provides a fine and controlled spray of bone particles when the device is activated, without waste of valuable bone and without clogging of the gun 10 by relatively sticky and moist bone particles.
