An apparatus for supplying a reagent to a froth flotation cell (170). The flotation cell is fed by a flotation gas feed line (100). A predetermined volume (10) is in fluid communication with said flotation gas feed line (100). The volume (10) has a gas inlet on an upstream side, a gas outlet on a downstream side. An atomiser (60) is positioned intermediate the inlet and outlet to atomise the reagent into the predetermined volume (10). The atomised reagent is then entrained with the flotation gas entering said cell.
L'invention concerne un appareil permettant d'acheminer un réactif dans une cellule de flottation par mousse (170). Cette cellule de flottation est alimentée par un circuit d'alimentation en gaz de flottation (100). Un volume prédéterminé (10) se trouve en communication fluidique avec ledit circuit d'alimentation en gaz de flottation (100). Ce volume (10) comporte un orifice d'entrée de gaz sur le côté amont et un orifice de sortie de gaz sur le côté aval. Un pulvérisateur (60) est disposé entre l'orifice d'entrée et l'orifice de sortie, de sorte à pulvériser le réactif dans ledit volume prédéterminé (10). Le réactif pulvérisé est ensuite entraîné avec le gaz de flottation pénétrant dans ladite cellule.
