In classical steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) processes for in situ extraction of carbon-containing materials, vapor is introduced into the reservoir at a high pressure, requiring a comparatively great technical effort. According to the invention, condensed water is used that is introduced into the reservoir via an injection pipe (101, 106, 107) and is horizontally conducted inside the pipe within the reservoir such that the water can evaporate in situ and the heat can be applied to the reservoir. This results in a significantly simplified technical installation. In particular, there is no need to desalinate the water at great expense as in prior art.

Dans le cadre de procédés SAGD (drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur) classiques permettant de transporter in situ des matériaux contenant des hydrocarbures, de la vapeur sous haute pression est introduite dans le réservoir, ce qui implique une complexité technique relativement importante. Selon la présente invention, on utilise de l'eau condensée qui est introduite dans le réservoir par le biais d'un tuyau d'injection (101, 106, 107), puis qui est guidée dans le tuyau de manière horizontale, ce qui peut provoquer "in situ" une évaporation de l'eau et impliquer un effet de la chaleur sur le réservoir. La technique des installations est ainsi nettement simplifiée et il est notamment possible d'éviter également une déminéralisation de l'eau, complexe en l'état de la technique.
