The invention pertains to an apparatus and method of injection molding. This apparatus includes a mold (20) defining a mold cavity (54) and an inlet through which material can pass. Also included is at least one feeder (10) for preparing a broken material. This feeder has an outlet through which material can pass. There is also at least one accumulator (14) spaced from the feeder and the mold. This accumulator has an inlet through which molten material can enter, and an outlet through which molten material can pass. The accumulator also is designed such that it can introduce a molten material through its outlet into the mold cavity and exert a shear stress, compressive force or stress tensor on the molten material contained within the accumulator and/or within the mold cavity. The apparatus also includes a flow control mechanism (28) designed to prevent the flow of molten material from the accumulator back into the feeder.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de moulage par injection. Ce dispositif comprend un moule (20) qui délimite une cavité (54), et un orifice d'entrée par lequel le matériau peut passer. Le dispositif comprend également au moins un système d'alimentation (10) pour préparer un matériau fondu. Ce système d'alimentation présente un orifice de sortie par lequel le matériau peut passer. Le dispositif comprend en outre un réservoir accumulateur (14) situé à distance du système d'alimentation et du moule. Ce réservoir comporte un orifice d'entrée par lequel le matériau fondu peut entrer et un orifice de sortie par lequel ledit matériau fondu peut sortir. Ce réservoir se présente de manière à pouvoir introduire un matériau fondu dans la cavité du moule, via son orifice de sortie, et à exercer une contrainte tangentielle, une force compressive ou une tension de contrainte sur le matériau fondu contenu dans le réservoir et/ou dans la cavité du moule. Le dispositif comprend également un mécanisme (28) de régulation du débit destiné à éviter que le courant de matériau fondu provenant du réservoir ne soit refoulé dans le système d'alimentation.
