A reactor head inspection system (13) for use in performing a non-destructive inspection of tubular components (5) mounted on an interior surface of a reactor head (3) is disclosed. The inspection system includes a movable carriage assembly (12) including an elevation arm (18) and an inspection device (13) mounted at a distal end of the elevation arm. The inspection device (13) includes a C- or U-shaped collar (20) having an interior surface of sufficient interior dimension to enable positioning of the interior surface of the collar in close proximity of an exterior surface of a tubular component (5) and also includes a magnetic and/or eddy current sensor (41). A plurality of video cameras (35) and light sources (50) are also provided on a distal surface of the collar (20) such that, when mounted on the elevation arm, the collar (20) can be controllably positioned in close proximity adjacent a tubular component (5) of the reactor head to achieve a 360~ view and inspection of a surface of the tubular component (5).
L'invention concerne un système d'inspection d'une tête de réacteur destiné à être utilisé pour effectuer une inspection sans dégât de constituants tubulaires assemblés sur une surface intérieure d'une tête de réacteur. Ce système d'inspection comprend un ensemble support mobile comportant un bras de soulèvement et un dispositif d'inspection monté au niveau d'une extrémité distale du bras de soulèvement. Le dispositif d'inspection comprend une bague en forme de C ou de U possédant une surface intérieure de dimension intérieure suffisante pour permettre le placement de la surface intérieure de cette bague à proximité d'une surface extérieure d'un constituant tubulaire, et comprend également un capteur magnétique et/ou à courants de Foucault. Plusieurs caméras vidéo et sources lumineuses sont également situées sur une surface distale de la bague de façon que, lorsqu'elle est montée sur le bras de soulèvement, cette bague puisse être placée de façon commandée adjacente à un constituant tubulaire de la tête de réacteur pour obtenir une vision et une inspection à 360· d'une surface de ce constituant tubulaire.
