ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for installing a board-like block of insulating material in an insulated standing seam roof panel assembly is described, together with a clip which facilitates the installation. The board-like block is installed for the purpose of improving the heat insulating characteristics of the roof in those regions where the primary blanket of insulating material is compressed along the underlying-purlins.
