A roadway barrier including a plurality of movable roadway barrier modules (14) forming a barrier chain (10). There is hardware (42, 44, 48, 50,) for connecting the barrier modules (14) together to form a first length. There is a control (20) for resisting increase and decrease of the barrier chain (10) length when the barrier chain (10) is in place on a roadway, and for permitting increase and decrease of the barrier chain length (10) when the barrier chain is raised from the roadway by atransfer machine.
Cette invention concerne une barrière routière comprenant une pluralité de modules (14) mobiles formant une chaîne (10), des liaisons techniques (42, 44, 48, 50) permettant de relier entre eux les modules (14) mobiles sous forme d'une première longueur et une commande (20) empêchant d'augmenter ou de réduire la longueur de la chaîne (10) de barrière lorsque celle-ci (10) est en place sur la chaussée, mais d'autoriser ces opérations lorsque la chaîne de barrière est soulevée de la chaussée par une machine de transfert.
