ABSTRACT In a method for pulling a heavy cable into a cable duct, cable holders of which the configuration is adapted to the cross-section of the cable duct are secured to the cables at regular spacings, The cable is pulled into the cable duct by means of a draw wire which is secured to the cable holders and/or to the cable. The draw wire is then anchored at both ends under a tensile stress.
