An apparatus and method is provided for limiting the connection time of selected telephone lines in a private branch exchange. A maximum connection time is programmed into the system for selected lines. Calls are automatically terminated if the duration of the call exceeds the maximum time. The selected line is prevented from re-dialing the called number for a certain period of time. If desired, the selected telephone line is automatically enabled and disabled by the system at predetermined times. The telephone system may also incorporate other conventional features for certain ones of the telephone lines in the PBX system, including limited prefix dialing capabilities, limited area code dialing capabilities, blocking of incoming calls, and the like.
L'invention est constituée par un appareil et une méthode servant à limiter le temps de connexion de lignes téléphoniques sélectionnées dans un autocommutateur privé. Un temps de connexion maximum est programmé dans le système pour ces lignes sélectionnées. Les appels sont interrompus automatiquement quand leur durée atteint le temps de connexion maximum. Une ligne sélectionnée ne peut être réutilisée pour communiquer avec le numéro demandé avant une certaine période de temps. Au besoin, le système peut valider et invalider les lignes sélectionnées automatiquement à des instants prédéterminés. Le système téléphonique peut également incorporer d'autres fonctions courantes pour certaines des lignes sélectionnées de l'autocommutateur privé, dont la composition limitée d'indicatifs de central, la composition limitée de codes régionaux, le blocage des appels incidents, etc.
