Des passages sont ménagés entre les supports 8. et des moyens 10 de mise en vibration des supports sont prévus. Les matériaux descendent progressivement sur les supports 8 vers le four et sont simultanément préchauffés par les gaz chauds introduits dans le tube circulant a travers les matériaux et par les passages 9, et extraits par l'orifice de sortie 5.
