A vertical stand-up pouch, flat bottom bag, or flexible package, and method for manufacturing same, constructed with a quick change module modification to existing vertical form and fill packaging machines. The invention involves producing a vertical stand-up pouch or flat bottom bag from a single sheet of packaging film by creating one or two vertical creases along the packaging tube prior to forming a traverse seal on the tube. Such creases are formed used fixed or stationary modifications (104, 105, 106) to prior art vertical form, fill and seal machines comprising, in part, a quick change module (94) that easily installs on the base of a forming tube.

L'invention concerne un sac vertical à fond plat ou un emballage souple. L'invention traite aussi d'un procédé de fabrication de ce sac, réalisé à l'aide d'un module de modification rapide mis en oeuvre sur des formeuses-remplisseuses-scelleuses. L'invention consiste à produire un sac vertical ou un sac à fond plat à partir d'une seule feuille de film d'emballage en créant un ou deux plis verticaux le long du tube d'emballage avant de former un scellement transversal sur le tube. Ces plis sont formés à l'aide de modifications fixes ou permanentes (104, 105, 106) de formeuses-remplisseuses-scelleuses de l'art antérieur. Ces modifications concernent essentiellement un module de changement rapide (94) qui s'installe aisément sur la base d'un tube de formage.
