A method of and apparatus for making a three-dimensional object (2) made of a plurality of performed sheets (3), one atop the other. The method includes coating one side of one sheet (3) with adhesive using applicator (20), coating the adhesive with a release agent using applicator (22), bonding the opposite side of twice coating sheet (3) to a sheet (3) thereunder using adhesive on the surface of sheet (3) thereunder, and cutting twice coated sheet (3) using cutter (30). These steps are repeated until the desired number of sheets (3) is provided in a stack. The release agent is coated only in those areas of sheets (3) which will not be part of object (2), and cutting of each sheet (3) is along a contour corresponding to the contour of the same respective layer in object (2). After the steps have stopped, portion of the stack where the release layer is present and which is not part of object (2) is removed from the stack to give object (2).
Cette invention a trait à une technique de réalisation d'un objet en trois dimensions (2) constitué d'un grand nombre de feuilles minces préformées (3), les unes au-dessus des autres. Cette technique consiste à enduire l'une des faces d'une feuille (3) d'adhésif au moyen d'un applicateur (20), à enduire l'adhésif d'un agent anti-adhésif au moyen d'un applicateur (22), à coller la face opposée de la feuille deux fois enduite (3) à une feuille en utilisant un adhésif sur la surface de la feuille (3) et à découper la feuille deux fois enduite à l'aide d'un couteau. On répète ces opérations jusqu'à l'obtention du nombre souhaité de feuilles (3) dans une pile. L'agent anti-adhésif n'est déposé que sur les régions de la feuille (3) ne faisant pas partie intégrante de l'objet (2). La découpe de chaque feuille (3) se fait en suivant un tracé correspondant au tracé de la même couche respective de l'objet (2). Pour obtenir l'objet (2), on enlève, une fois ces opérations achevées, la partie de la pile où se trouve la couche d'anti-adhésif et qui ne fait pas partie intégrante de l'objet (2).
