ABSTRACT A plastic sheet is laminated to a glass sheet for the manufacture of laminated safety class by means of an elastic membrane rigidly held at its periphery and subjected to increas- ing gas pressure, the membrane thereby pressing the plastic sheet against the glass sheet progressively from the center out toward the edges of the latter.
