A system for rejuvenating old keyboard instruments has an array of key sensor switches (KS) which are individually adjustable in a horizontal plane to accommodate varying angulations of the keys (K) behind the balance rail (20) of the keyboard and each key sensor switch (KS) includes a friction retained sensor probe (60) which enables a rapid and accurate accommodation of uneven keys.
