The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for adding a treating agent/treating agents to a liquid. More particularly, it relates to a method and apparatus for mixing gas, usually air, with a liquid, e.g., effluent, and dissolving the gas in the liquid. It is characteristic of the method and apparatus according to the invention to allow free flowing of both gas and liquid into a mixing device, to generate a pressure by the mixing device under which pressure gas is allowed to dissolve in the liquid or be mixed as small bubbles therewith, to separate the surplus gas in the mixing device, and to discharge the liquid and the gas dissolved therein/mixed therewith from the mixing device at a raised pressure.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif servant à ajouter un ou plusieurs agents de traitement à un liquide. Elle concerne, en particulier, un procédé et un dispositif servant à mélanger un gaz, normalement de l'air, à un liquide, par exemple, un effluent, et à dissoudre le gaz dans le liquide. L'invention est caractérisée par la fait qu'elle permet à la fois au gaz et au liquide de s'écouler librement vers l'intérieur d'un dispositif de mélange, à ce dispositif de générer une pression à laquelle le gaz se dissout dans le liquide ou est mélangé dans le liquide sous forme de petites bulles, de séparer l'excédent de gaz dans le dispositif de mélange et d'évacuer le liquide et le gaz dissous et mélangés hors du dispositif de mélange à une pression augmentée.
