A method and system for production of powders, such as micropowders and nanopowders, utilizing an axial injection plasma torch. Liquid precursor is atomized and injected into the convergence area of the plasma torch. The hot stream of particles is subsequently quenched and the resultant powders collected.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système qui utilisent une torche à plasma à injection axiale pour la production de poudres telles que des micropoudres et des nanopoudres. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à: atomiser et injecter un précurseur liquide dans une zone de convergence de la torche à plasma; refroidir ensuite brusquement l'écoulement chaud de particules et recueillir les poudres formées.
