D-7091 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PACKAGING BEVERAGE CONTAINERS Abstract of the Disclosure Method and apparatus for packaging one or more beverage containers into an open bottom basket style carrier, comprising bringing each article to a loading station at which an article carrier having an initially open bottom wall is caused to be sealed partially around each article by loading through the open bottom of the carrier and then causing the carrier to be fully seated around each article by urging the carrier downwardly towards the track at a locating station and subsequently closing the bottom wall of the carrier.
