The provision of payment to a seller without requiring the seller to have traditional payment card acceptance infrastructure. Payment card information for a buyer is received in conjunction with a transaction between the buyer and a seller wherein the buyer provides the seller a given payment amount. The payment card information is preferably received through a communication by the seller with a telephone. The payment card information is then passed to a payment card processor along with information to accommodate an immediate payment to the seller. The provision of information to the payment card processor may be made despite the absence of a merchant relationship between the seller and the payment card processor. Following this, payment to the seller is accommodated upon successful processing of the payment card information by the payment card processing entity.
Cette invention permet d'effectuer un paiement à un vendeur sans qu'il soit nécessaire que le vendeur dispose d'une infrastructure d'acceptation de cartes de paiement traditionnelle. Les informations de carte de paiement pour un acheteur sont reçues en association avec une transaction entre l'acheteur et un vendeur, transaction dans laquelle l'acheteur fournit au vendeur une somme de paiement donnée. Les informations de carte de paiement sont de préférence reçues par le vendeur via une communication téléphonique. Les informations de carte de paiement sont ensuite transmises à un processeur de cartes de paiement conjointement avec des informations permettant de réaliser un paiement immédiat à l'intention du vendeur. la Transmission des informations au processeur de cartes de paiement peut s'effectuer malgré l'absence d'une relation commerciale entre le vendeur et le processeur de cartes de paiement. Ensuite, l'opération de paiement à l'intention du vendeur peut être effectuée après aboutissement du traitement des informations de carte de paiement par l'entité de traitement des cartes de paiement.
