ABSTRACT A plasma-MIG-welding torch comprising a housing provided with a nozzle, a non-consumable plasma electrode connected to a first power supply source and means for pass- ing a plasma gas through the housing to the nozzle so that a plasma arc can be maintained in a gas flow between the non- consumable electrode and a workpiece. A first welding wire guide with a first contact member is located for introducing the first welding wire axially into the gas plasma and a second power supply source is connected to this first con- tact member so that a MIG-arc can be maintained between this welding wire and the workpiece. A second welding wire guide is arranged parallel to the first welding wire guide for introducing a second welding wire into the same plasma so that a MIG-arc can also be maintained between the second welding wire and the workpiece.
