A method and apparatus for pretreating fibre material to be used in manufacturing paper or the like, for example, by precipitating mineral substances to the fibres. During precipitation, fibre material, which is advantageously pretreated in a through-flow mixer operating on the principle of an impact mills, is fed to the precipitation reactor. Gas is led to the precipitation reactor in order to generate a gas space in the reactor. The gas contains a substance, which precipitates the mineral substance such as carbon dioxide (CO2). The fibre material is fed to the gas space of the precipitation reactor as small liquid and solid substance fractions such as drops and/or particles.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de prétraiter un matériau fibreux à utiliser, dans la fabrication du papier ou analogue, par exemple, par précipitation de substances minérales sur les fibres. Pendant la précipitation, le matériau fibreux, qui est avantageusement prétraité dans un mélangeur à écoulement fonctionnant sur le principe d'un broyeur à percussion, est fourni à un réacteur de précipitation. Un gaz est amené dans ledit réacteur de précipitation afin d'y produire un espace gazeux. Ce gaz contient une substance qui précipite une substance minérale telle qu'un dioxyde de carbone (CO¿2?).?¿Le matériau fibreux alimente l'espace gazeux du réacteur de précipitation sous forme de petites fractions de substance liquides et solides telles que des gouttelettes et/ou des particules.?¿
