A method and apparatus for storing and preparing a two component reactive acrylic adhesive in which a liquid acrylic res- in (12) mixed with an organic peroxide (16) in solution without causing yellowing. A sealed container (14) is used to house the peroxide (16) solution and an inert gas, preferably nitrogen (18). The container (14) is made from a translucent or transparent ma- terial to permit viewing during the mixing operation and is covered with an opague material (20) during storage of the peroxide solution (16) and gas (18).
