A printed article prepared by a flexographic printing process by applying a coating or ink that contains materials that are highly reactive with hydroxyl groups to an article substrate using a flexographic roller or plate made of non-polar polymers and optionally impregnated with silicone. Further, an apparatus for flexographic printing for use with more than one type of ink/varnish that is not compatible with the other. The apparatus includes pumps, viscometers, viscosity adjusters and washing systems that are dedicated to each of the types of solutions. In addition, a flexographic process for preparing a printed article by pattern applying more than one type of coating onto an article substrate. Unique patterns are laser engraved onto non-polar polymeric flexographic rollers/plates that may be impregnated with silicone, to preferably each coat different portions of the article substrate surface.
L'invention porte sur un article imprimé préparé par un procédé d'impression flexographique par l'application d'un revêtement ou d'une encre qui contient des matières qui sont hautement réactives avec des groupes hydroxyle, sur un substrat d'article, à l'aide d'un rouleau ou d'une plaque flexographique faits de polymères non polaires et facultativement imprégnés de silicone. En outre, l'invention porte sur un appareil pour une impression flexographique en vue d'une utilisation avec plus d'un type d'encre/vernis qui n'est pas compatible avec l'autre. L'appareil comprend des pompes, des viscosimètres, des régleurs de viscosité et des systèmes de lavage qui sont dédiés à chacun des types de solutions. De plus, l'invention porte sur un procédé flexographique pour préparer un article imprimé par application en motifs de plus d'un type de revêtement sur un substrat d'article. Des motifs uniques sont gravés au laser sur des rouleaux/plaques flexographiques polymères non polaires qui peuvent être imprégnés de silicone, pour de préférence revêtir chacun différentes parties de la surface de substrat d'article.
