1 PHA 20779 Abstract: The radiation source and the detectors in a compu- ter tomography apparatus translate and rotate with varying velocities. Radiation transmission data are measured and sampled at a high rate, the sampling points being equidi- stant in time. The measuring data are flltered and interpo- lated by means of a high order polynomial fit in order to produce data signals for an image reconstruction algorithm which is based on the data signals obtained at points which are equidistantly distributed in space.
