A method and system for processing buffer status reports (BSRs) such that when BSR triggering is performed, the size(s) of the nec-essary sub-header(s) are also to be considered together in addition to the BSR size. The steps of checking whether any padding region is available in a MAC PDU that was constructed, comparing the number of padding bits with the size of the BSR plus its sub-header, and if the number of padding bits is larger than the size of the BSR plus its sub-header, triggering BSR are performed. Doing so allows the sub-header(s) to be inserted or included into the MAC PDU or transport block (TB) or other type of data unit.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de traitement de rapports d'état de tampon (rapports BSR) faisant que, lorsque le déclenchement de rapport BSR s'effectue, la ou les tailles d'en-tête(s) secondaire(s) puissent également être prises en considération ensemble, outre la taille de rapport BSR. On procède selon les étapes suivantes: vérifier si une zone de remplissage quelconque est disponible dans une unité MAC PDU ayant été assemblée, comparaison entre le nombre de bits de remplissage et la taille de rapport BSR plus l'en-tête secondaire correspondant, et lorsque ce nombre excède la taille de rapport BSR plus l'en-tête secondaire correspondant, déclenchement de rapport BSR. Le fait de procéder ainsi permet l'insertion ou l'inclusion d'en-tête(s) secondaire(s) dans l'unité MAC PDU ou le bloc de transport (TB) ou autre type d'unité de données.
