Method and apparatus whereby instantly derived emissions of RGB tri-stimulus optical hues are processed into an isotropic field of radiation for directed transmission through one or more selected imaging point or points of an electro-optical imaging screen (121) as one or more unique point-hue pixel (RxCy) or pixels, or as one or more radiant beam portion or portions of an optical composition being imaged. Embodiments of the invention provide for video or other continuous imaging of contiguous pixels from electrical or optical data source signals. A preferred application of an embodiment of the invention is the formation of a composite polychromatic display from non-overlayed, different monochromatic hue-pixel component groups such as the hue-pixel component group for the color dark green depicted in Fig. 7A (RbC2-RbC4; RcC1-RcC5; and RdC1-RdC5).
