ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for producing adjacent profile grooves with identical pitch therebetween in the circumferential surface of a rotary member by means of broaching, wherein two adjacent profile grooves are broached simultaneously in one broaching pass by means of two broaching tools which are clamped at a distance from each other and at an angular position of the pitch associated with the profile grooves which are to be produced.
