A method and apparatus for producing cosmetics with minimal air content. The method comprises the steps of advancing a mold to a position for receiving liquefied cosmetic product from a dispensing element through a inlet on the mold, the long axis of the mold subtending with a vertical line an angle between 5 and approximately 80 degrees; and filling liquefied cosmetic product into the mold using the dispensing element.

Procédé et appareil de production de produits cosmétiques contenant une quantité minime de bulles d'air. Le procédé consiste à faire avancer un moule (2) vers une position où elle reçoit un produit cosmétique liquéfié d'un élément de distribution (1), par un orifice d'admission (4) ménagé dans le moule (2), le long d'un axe du moule (2) formant avec une ligne verticale un angle de 5 à environ 80 degrés. Le procédé consiste ensuite à injecter le produit cosmétique liquéfié dans le moule (2), au moyen dudit élément de distribution (1).
