ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing a metal object, alloyed with at least one alloy ingredient, by means of casting. According to the invention, the principal metal and the alloy ingredient flows are conducted so that the alloy ingredient is fed into the flow of molten principal metal between a smelting furnace, used for smelting the principal metal, and a casting mould.
