A modified temperature compensation signal (110) is provided in a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) circuit (100) in the following manner. A temperature dependent current generator (104) produces a temperature compensation signal (108) whose amplitude changes responsive to changes in ambient temperature. The temperature compensation signal (108) is scaled, based on a plurality of discrete frequency adjust values (212), to produce the modified temperature compensation signal (110).

Selon l'invention, on produit un signal de compensation de température modifiée (110) dans un circuit à oscillateur à quartz compensé en température (TCXO) (100), de la manière suivante: un générateur de courant (104) sensible à la température produit un signal de compensation thermique (108) dont l'amplitude change en réponse aux changements intervenus dans la température ambiante. Ce signal de compensation thermique (108) est mis à l'échelle d'après une pluralité de valeurs (212) de réglage de fréquence discrète, afin de produire le signal (110) de compensation thermique modifiée.
